The widest tooth spacing in our neem range, made for the one job combs usually fail at: getting through wet, thick or curly hair without tearing it.

Why Wide Teeth Matter on Wet Hair

Wet hair stretches up to 30% more than dry hair before it snaps. A fine tooth comb forces its way through and breaks strands you never see come out. Wide teeth separate the hair instead of forcing it, and the breakage stops.

If you have ever found short broken pieces around your parting, this is usually where they came from.

How to Use It

  1. Start at the ends, not the roots — work out the tangles at the bottom first
  2. Move up a few inches and comb down again
  3. Keep moving up until you can run the comb from root to tip in one pass
  4. On wet hair, do this with conditioner still on — it is the slip that does the work, not the comb

Never start at the roots. It drags every tangle in your hair down into one knot at the ends.

What It Is For

Wet hair after washing

The main use. Comb while conditioner is still in the hair, then rinse.

Curly and textured hair

Wide spacing is the only spacing that works on curls without pulling the pattern apart.

Thick and dense hair

Gets through volume that a regular comb simply stops in.

Spreading hair oil or a herbal pack

Works oil or paste down through the hair so the ends get covered too.

Why Neem Wood

A moulded plastic comb has a seam along each tooth that catches the cuticle every stroke. Wood is cut and sanded — nothing to catch. Wood also holds no static, so hair lies down instead of frizzing up.

Neem is the wood traditionally used for combs in Ayurveda. Mechanically, the comb spreads your scalp's natural oils down the hair while massaging as it passes.

Which Detangler?

This is the flat one. The rounded detangler curves to follow the shape of the head, which suits scalp massage better. The medium tooth comb is a step finer, for everyday use on straighter hair.

Looking After It

  • Wipe it dry after wet use — this one gets used in the bathroom, so it matters most here
  • Never leave it on a wet shelf or soak it
  • Rub a little coconut or almond oil into the wood once a month

Frequently Asked Questions

Can I use it on wet hair?
Yes — that is what it is designed for. Dry it afterwards.

Will it smooth my hair?
No, and it is not meant to. For a sleek finish you need fine teeth — see the twin tooth comb.

Is it good for curly hair?
It is the right comb for curly hair. Wide teeth, on wet conditioned hair, starting at the ends.
