Each potli is filled after your order is placed. Camphor sublimates in open air, so a pouch that has sat in a warehouse for three months has already given most of its scent away. Filling to order is the only way to send it out at full strength.

What Is Inside

Natural Bhimseni camphor, crystallised from the camphor tree rather than pressed from turpentine like ordinary camphor tablets. The smell is cool and sweet instead of sharp.

Where to Put It

Car

Under a seat or in the door pocket. Camphor cuts through the closed, upholstered smell a car develops standing in the sun, and it keeps mosquitoes out.

Wardrobe and almirah

Between stacks of clothes. The traditional alternative to naphthalene balls — and it does not leave that chemical smell behind in your clothes.

Refilling It
